“Educate themselves and open their minds. It’s not up to people living with HIV/AIDS to end discrimination - other community members need to take the time to learn about it. They need to realise that HIV/AIDS is nothing to shame or judge people for. Change can’t come until those who are perpetrating discrimination realise that they are in the wrong. As for what people living with HIV and allies can do - more campaigns like this!”
- Mikey James, Perth WA

“Education regarding safe sex practices helps people. Aside from that, education is power. The more people know about HIV/AIDS, the more we can begin to destigmatise it, the more people will understand.”

“We need educational institutions at the state and school level, including government and independent sectors, to issue and implement anti-discrimination education, safe schools policies protecting students from bullying. Policies MUST enumerate protection for sexual orientation, gender identity and HIV/AIDS Status. Research shows these policies are limited to a decrease in negative healthy outcomes for students.”
- Tiffany, Sydney NSW
